  33 <P>This section describes the options presented under the Filtering
  34 Tab of the preferences dialog.</P>

  37 <P><U>Filters</U></P>
  38 <P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in"><B>Show entries that begin with a dot</B>:
  39 Enables the display of hidden files and folders, also known as dot
  40 files.</P>
  41 <P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in"><B>Case sensitive sort</B>: Files and
  42 folders are sorted such that upper case letters occur before lower
  43 case letters.</P>

  46 <P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in"><B>Disable file filtering</B>: Enable
  47 this to allow GQview to list all files, even those that do not
  48 contain images.</P>

  51 <P><U>File types</U></P>
  52 <P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in">This list contains the image formats
  53 that are understood by GQview. To disable a specific file type from
  54 being displayed, uncheck it's corresponding checkbox. Filters can be
  55 edited by first selecting the line containing the item to be changed,
  56 then clicking the filter or description field, making any changes,
  57 then pressing enter; press escape to cancel an active edit. The
  58 format for the filter field is a semicolon (;) seperated list of
  59 extensions, extensions must include the period (.).</P>
  60 <P STYLE="margin-left: 1.58in"><I>Note:</I> Unlike all other options
  61 in the dialog, filter list changes are applied immediately.</P>
  62 <P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in"><B>Add</B> button: Adds a new blank
  63 line to the filter list, change the parameters to match the desired
  64 file type.</P>
  65 <P STYLE="margin-left: 0.79in"><B>Remove</B> button: Removes the
  66 selected line from the filter list.</P>

  68 filter list to the default values, discarding any customizations made
